São Paulo, September 2020 – Eurofarma won the 2020 edition of Época Negócios 360º in the Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Industry category, an award granted by Época Negócios magazine, in partnership with Fundação Dom Cabral.
The survey, considered one of the most thorough in business excellence in Brazil, evaluates companies across six dimensions: Innovation, Sustainability, Future Vision, Corporate Governance, People, and Financial Performance. In this 2020 edition, the evaluated companies are organized in 24 economic sectors, each with its own champion.
Year after year, Eurofarma has been gaining positions in both the overall and sector rankings, and for the first time was champion in its industry, also achieving notoriety in the “Sustainability” and “Future Vision” dimensions. “We believe in generating and sharing value with our employees and with society. Progressing in sustainably and ensuring our perpetuity is mandatory for us, it’s not an option. We believe that the key to perpetuity should be based on innovation and sustainability, so these themes are transversal. We are also aware of future challenges and improvement opportunities; we are proud of this award and everyone here deserves this recognition,” Maurizio Billi, CEO of Eurofarma, said.
As a way to honor the winners, the magazine organized virtual meetings with the featured companies, with the CEO interviews CEO – What the 2020 champions have to teach series. In each episode, the top executives exchange perceptions and examples of excellence in their segments, sharing best practices, ideas, and questions. Maurizio Billi, CEO of Eurofarma, attended the meeting alongside Sidney Klajner, CEO of Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein.
